If you have been following my blog for a while, then you know that we as a family are trying really hard to lower our carbon foot print. We have really been conscious of what we can recycle and what products we use in our home and on our bodies.
Well at Rewined Candles they have found an adorable way to recycle and reuse unwanted wine bottles.
I was lucky enough to get one of these really cute Rewined Candles in Spiked Cider. Every candle is made from a repurposed wine bottle and is hand crafted every step of the way. All scents are made to replicate a wine and the Spiked Cider is a delicious blend of fresh apples, cloves, cinnamon and a shot of buttered rum.It smells good enough to drink that is for sure!
I love that they chose to make these candles out of soy and that they candles burn for a really long time(60-80 hours). I only had one problem with the candle, it is very rough at the edge where it is cut. They do give a warning about it,but with small grandchildren who visit regularly I would not want to leave it out as it would cut you no doubt.
Rewined Candles come in lots of different scents and I love the fact that these wine bottles are not ending up in a dump some where. I think these would make a lovely gift for that wine or candle lover in your family.
