Recently Best Buy sent me a Misfit Shine to review and test out. Since I have been running for the last 6 months I have really been wanting a way to track my steps and see how all my activity is really adding up.

Shine is a gorgeous device that will empower people to be more proactive about their personal health. It is a small circular device that looks like some alien being, but it does a whole lot! It tracks all your activity by just turning it on and linking it with the app on your iPhone. You can either wear it with the clasp, sportband, leather band,or necklace. It is so sleek no one will know it is tracking you’re every move.

Can you believe something this small can do all that? Plus if you don’t want it in plain old grey, Shine is exclusively available in additional colors at Best Buy including Silver, Black, Champagne and Topaz.

Shine Features: •Activity Tracking, •Steps, •Activities: Swimming, Biking, Tennis, etc., •Sleep, •Calories, •Clock, •Waterproof, •Extra Accessories (includes Magnet clip), •Leather Bands, •Sport band, •Necklace
My favorite way to wear my Misfit Shine was with the magnetic clasp. It easily attached to my belt loops and no one could even see it. I was also surprised to find out I could even swim with my Shine and  take a shower.
It is waterproof when put together correctly.
I do wish the directions to get started were a bit easier to understand, but once I got it all going it was super simple to use.
So do you have a health nut or someone who is dieting, this is not just for runners? Then I would think about getting them a Misfit Shine for the Holidays.A gift that keeps on giving good health all year long.

  1. The Misfit Shine sounds like a great fitness gadget. I’ve seen people running with their smartphones attached to their armbands, and I would be terrified of dropping my phone!

  2. This sounds like a handy little gadget! Especially for someone like me who doesn’t get out hardly at all anymore to run but wants to make sure they’re still doing enough.

Let me know what you think
