Beautyfix Spring 2013 Review

Today I am going to share with you what I believe to be the best beauty subscription box period! If you have been with me for a while then you probably already know what box I am talking about. If you are a new reader then let me introduce you to Beautyfix.

Beautyfix is a quarterly beauty subscription box. The difference is that with this box you pick the items you want most.Every quarter starting on the 15th of the month the list is released. You just head over to and click the get started button to the right of the page. This box is $49.99 which includes shipping, but before you freak out at the price remember you personally pick the products you want and most of them are full size.

I anxiously await the 15th of the month when I know a new box is about to be released. I always have a couple of stand by items that I seem to stock up on every time. Then I also like to give some new products a try. Here is a look at what I picked for my Spring Beautyfix box.

Another restock item is the Nick Chavez Caviar Moisturizing Styling Mousse .    This mousse works magic on my curls and seems to totally eliminate my frizz. I use this on days I am in a hurry. This mousse does the work of like five other products together. It retails for $20

I have used quite a few other products made by this company so I couldn’t wait to try Nailtiques Hand Conditioner .   This hand conditioner is great for hands and cuticle and uses aloe and jojoba oil to nourish the nails to perfection. This stuff is super rich and made my hands feel extra soft. This will become a new restock item soon.It retails for $13.99

This is I-Divine Eye Color from Global Goddess in the color Kumaon. I couldn’t find this color so it may be discontinued.Which is fine by me,glad I got one.It is a really pretty neutral brown.I have three other shadows from this company. They are long-lasting and super creamy so they never crease.retails for $18

And to complete this month’s box I chose Raw Color All-over  Eye Shadow Brush . This is my go to eye shadow brush.I carry one in my small make up bag as it works as an all-in-one brush that does everything .It retails for $20 but it is on sale for $16 right now.

In addition to the eight items you get to choose each quarter you also get to choose a make up bag. They usually have 2-3 for you to pick from. This month I went with the large quilted bag as it is the biggest and holds a lot of stuff.I can always use more bags to organize with.

So see what I mean by what a great deal this is. This box is $49.99 but my box retailed for $161!!! I have had boxes retail over $300 in the past.

So if after seeing how to get your hands on some really nice high-end products click on the image below and get started!

  1. That looks like an awesome box! I love boxes and I’ve never heard of this one before. Oh, goodness, I just know I’m going to get into so much trouble now when my husband gets the credit card bill. Thanks for the info!

  2. I got the Skindinavia finishing spray last month and haven’t dared use it yet. Does it keep eyeliner and mascara in place, or just foundation and blush? P.S. The $25 towards a purchase at Dermstore for submitting a couple of reviews is a lovely bonus!

    1. I have used the spray and if you are going outside in cold weather or if you have a runny eye tendency it does not keep the eye products in place most of the time; but it is still a great product.

Let me know what you think
